Welcome to the Western Kentucky Highland Festival Website!

The 2009 Games will be held October 17. Please join us for a celebration of Scottish-Celtic heritage featuring all things Scottish such as: bagpipe bands, music, amateur athletic competition including: cabre-tossing, sheath toss, weighted throws, stone throws, etc., Clan tents, Scottish entertainers, genealogy tent, Scottish vendors, highland cattle, sheepherding and MUCH MORE! There are events the whole family will enjoy!

Since its inception in 1996, the West Kentucky Highland Festival has been the place to be every fall in West Kentucky. Formerly held at Carson Park in Paducah, Kentucky, the Games recently moved to Murray, Kentucky, in 2006, to house the vastness of the events that take place each year.



We would like to say thanks to all of our volunteers, patrons and corporate sponsors that lend their time, energy and effort to put on a spectacular show every year. Thank you!
